  Food was quite good if slightly pricey but staff were verging on the surly. As part of food we ordered a Devonshire cream tea and as it was clearly advertised as coming with 2 scones but only came with one. Apparently they had run out and given us a 'bigger' one but looked like the type you get in the supermarket. Coffee that came with soya milk separated out as though milk was off.

  Food was good and well priced for the location.
  Sadly the service wasn't unhelpful staff when asking for £5 change for the parking meter in order for us to eat. This was even after ordering £30 worth of food and drink. I just think that if you are purchasing food and drink from them they could at least spare you some change. Maine places forget that good food is easy to produce - customer service is the asset that sets businesses apart from their competitors.

  Nice little café, friendly staff but a little crowded as it is only small. Hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was delicious.

  Stopped here for a bite to eat whilst in Castleton. My wife and I both had their rustic baguettes (one was Pulled pork, the other chicken & avocado). There were HEAVENLY!! best baguette I had eaten in a very long time. Service was quick and the staff friendly. There are tables outside if you have pets with you, and water available for them to drink. Eating here was a lovely experience and we will certainly return in the future.
